Teaching
I believe that education is all about building supportive learning communities and fostering open-minded curiosity to engage with new ideas and perspectives. I love sharing my excitement about psychology and neuroscience, guiding my students through challenging material, listening in on group activities as my students work together, leading discussions in which diverse perspectives are valued, and encouraging my students to step outside their comfort zones to learn new things. My approach to teaching is built on three key pillars: 1) fostering an inclusive learning environment, 2) supporting student engagement through active learning, and 3) building students' skills in written and oral science communication.
